The police have announced that they are intensifying their patrols from October 27 to the Creole Festival activities that will take place everywhere in the country, to ensure order and peace.
In a press conference yesterday morning at Kordgard Central, Assistant Superintendent Marcus Jean, who is in charge of the regional section, said that what will happen to the activities of the musical spectacle, Dimans Kreol Borlanmer, which will be patrolled everywhere in the regions.
According to the ASP Jean, these activities are intensifying from October 27 with the Moutya show at the International Conference Center, the Revival John Wirtz show in the popular stadium carpark on the 28th, Selebo in the same place on the 29th evening and Dimans Kreol Borlanmer, Anse Royale, Au Cap and Beau Vallon on October 30, and the Elijah spectacle on the 31st night of Anvil, is important to have more police presence.For Dimans Creol Borlanmer that will be Beau Vallon, where there will be activities at sea, ASP Jean said that the police for that day will have the support of the marine police and the Maritime Safety Authority (SMSA) and the Seychelles Coast Guard to help them with patrols.

He asked the public to maintain this level of discipline at the events and to maintain order and peace.
“We are happy that members of the public are conscientious, and their friends are good. Use the spaces designated by the police for parking and respect your friends during this weekend,” ASP Jean said.
He also reminded the public that it is an offense to consume alcohol in public, and to avoid doing this type of action.
ASP Jean also asks that they take care of personal property such as phones and bags and not let it be visible in the vehicle, where it can encourage theft.People who are going to activities are also encouraged to inform their families and stay in touch, to avoid being reported missing.
“First of all, all those who leave the yard inform their family members where they are going because we have too many people missing and when that happens we need to put a lot of resources at their disposal. The second message is to always have a presence at the farm and make sure you have all the electronic stuff, which tomorrow will not be the situation that develops. And there is always a neighbor that they connect to have a vision of their yard to make sure that their yard is good.”
He also warned that officers are being deployed throughout the country to patrol the roads.
