When he addressed a large crowd of supporters from the districts of Port Glaud, Grand Anse Mahé, Anse Boileau and Baie Lazare, as well as other supporters throughout the country, Mr. Herminie said that this march will be the largest that the country has already organized.
“On November 26, we need to make him do two things, first of all, bring down bus prices. No more time to pay 24 rupees to get up and down to go to work. Second, the 65-year-old who wants to put on the pension age, we will say that he is short, he will not be able to do it,» Dr. Herminie said.
He is also critical of the budget that the government has just announced, which says that pensioners are not taken into account and that they do not get the 10% proposed for workers.
Dr. Herminie also spoke against the payment of the third month’s salary, which is calculated based on performance, which he says violates workers’ rights.
