Africa-Press – Seychelles. To commemorate the 93rd birthday of the late G.S. Pillay which falls on January 2, G.S. Pillay and Company in collaboration with DO FOR DISABLE Lion Dr Sasikumar donated a wheelchair to the disabled children at the School for the Exceptional Child at Roche Caiman which has cost approximately US $250.
The ceremony was attended by MNA Audrey Vidot; DA for Roche Caiman, Bernadette and her team; sponsor Jothimani Pillay, wife of the late G.S. Pillay and family members of G.S. Pillay & Company.
The donation was received by the DA and the head teacher of the school and the family members.
MNA Vidot seized the opportunity to thank and express appreciation to the sponsor Parameshwaran Pillay, G.S. Pillay & Company, DO as well as the Lions of Seychelles for their generosity and support towards the community and to the disabled group.
On behalf of disabled, the DO FOR DISABLE Lion Dr Sasikumar thanked the sponsor G.S. Pillay & Company, family members, MNA, DA and the team and stated that DO FOR DISABLE will try to cater and help the society.
Another activity was organised where clothes sponsored by S.G. Pillay and Mrs Kamalasri were handed over to the Roche Caiman DA by Jothimani Pillay.
