Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Mozambican football team won Tuesday a similar one from Libya, by 3-2, in a match for the 2nd round of Group A of CHAN ́2023, taking place in Algeria.
In a match played at Nelson Mandela Stadium, Mozambique’s goals were scored by Melque (74′), Nené (80′) and Pacheio Lau Há King (84′). Chico (23′) and Anis Saltou (90+3) scored for the Libyans.
Still this evening (20h00), in the same field, Algeria also defeated (1-0) Ethiopia, with a goal by Aimen Mahious (52′).
With these results, in the competition reserved for players who play in their countries, Algeria leads the series, with six (6) points, followed by Mozambique (4), Ethiopia (1) and Libya (0).
On Wednesday, at 5 pm, at Estádio 19 de Maio, they will play DRC- Côte d ́Ivoire, for the 2nd round of Group B.
Defending champion Morocco is absent from this edition of CHAN’2023.
