Africa-Press – Seychelles. • Call for Seychellois entrepreneurs to participate

From October 4 to 11, 2023, the International Organization of La Francophonie is co-organizing with the authorities of the two countries, in collaboration with its institutional and technical partners, an economic and trade mission to Greece and Lebanon.

This mission will be divided into three stages: 1. Thessaloniki, October 4, 2023; 2. Athens, October 5 and 6, 2023 and 3. Beirut, October 9 to 11, 2023

The Secretary General of La Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo will lead a delegation of around 100 French-speaking companies and economic actors from all French-speaking regions: Africa, North America, Asia and the Pacific, Caribbean and Latin America, Europe and Ocean. Indian.

They will have the opportunity to explore the markets of these two countries together, do business and network with 200 to 300 potential Greek and Lebanese partners, in the sectors of agro-industry, renewable energies, goods and services. digital technologies, sustainable tourism and the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

This economic and commercial mission will be punctuated by the following activities:

High-level forum with the political and economic authorities of the host countries;

B2B meetings with large groups and local SMEs;

Meetings between trade promotion and investment agencies, banks and regional and national financing institutions;

“Tailor-made” visits to local innovative companies;

Networking activities between participants from all over the French-speaking world.

According to the Secretary General of the National Commission of La Francophonie in Seychelles, Miera Savy, “the regional office of La Francophonie based in Madagascar asked me to share this information as much as possible with Seychellois entrepreneurs. Seychelles missed the previous two fixtures which took place in Asia and Africa. This is an opportunity not to be missed to explore possible avenues of economic cooperation. »
