Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Supreme Court yesterday dismissed the bail request of the two suspects in the sexual assault case who will now remain in police custody until Wednesday June 21 when they will re-appear before the court.
The two suspects, a 36-year-old Bangladeshi man and a 46-year-old woman, are being remanded over three main charges, including trafficking in persons, sexual assault and indecent assault against three minors.
The case was registered to the police on March, 22, 2023.
According to the incident reported to the police, the second suspect, who is the mother of the three victims, was allegedly engaging them in sexual acts with the Bangladeshi national, who is the director of Construction Company based at Providence.
