Travizory invites local software developers to support upcoming projects

Africa-Press – Seychelles. For the first time, Travizory Seychelles is recruiting local developers to support its team on two software projects due to commence later this year.

While the software developed for both projects will initially be used in Seychelles, it may also be used in Travizory’s global solution deployments.

The successful applicants will work closely with both the Seychelles and international Travizory teams, making the most of what is a unique opportunity within the local market.

The fixed-term contract opportunities are open exclusively to Seychelles-based applicants.

One project requires knowledge of Amazon’s AWS services, integration of 3rd party APIs and automation of data capture, while the other project requires experience in data manipulation and building data visualisation tools.

More details will be shared with interested parties once they have expressed interest and have been successfully vetted.

Applicants may be subject to vetting by Seychelles government authorities.

While this marks the first time that Travizory will work with local software developers, it is not the first time that the company has contracted local suppliers.

Today, Travizory works with multiple Seychellois suppliers from across a variety of sectors, including IT, graphic design, photography and security.

For instance, the biometric corridor installed at Seychelles International Airport was built and assembled by local artisans working from specifications provided by Travizory.

Seychelles also serves as the regional headquarters for the company, which currently employs over 50 full-time Seychellois staff.

Embracing its role as one of the largest IT start-ups in the country, Travizory seeks to create local opportunities within the technology sector, while also developing and nurturing budding developers.

As part of these efforts, Travizory recently held a technical workshop for students, in partnership with the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI).

All interested applicants can request more information by contacting [email protected] with an overview of the developer/business/organisation, highlighting relevant experience, expertise and successful project deliveries.

All expressions of interest must be submitted by Friday, July 7, 2023. You may be asked to provide more information and/or invited for an interview.
