Africa-Press – Seychelles. President of the United Seychelles party, Dr. Patrick Herminie has sent a message of sympathy following the death of Marc Volcère, a former member of the National Assembly (MNA) for the district of Grand Anse Praslin.
Dr. Herminie’s message reads as follows:
“It is with great sadness and regret that the United Seychelles announces the death of Mr. Marc Volcere, former MNA and third branch for Grand Anse Praslin, who arrived on Thursday.
“Mr. Volcere has been MNA for two terms, 2007 and 2011, and has worked on the branch committee of our party for several years. Although he is sick, he continues to participate in the activities we left; a fervent militant/activist, has contributed a lot to the development of Grand Anse Praslin and Praslin in general.
“While Marc has completed his studies, his profession has always been in banking services.
“He was a calm person, but very friendly, kind, and generous.
“On behalf of the United Seychelles party and my personal name and my family, I send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Marc, and the residents of Grand Anse Praslin who loved Marc a lot, especially during the time he was MNA and the people who were by their side every day in his political career.”
