Africa-Press – Seychelles. Air Seychelles’ longest serving pilot, Captain François Jackson, has been appointed as the new chairperson of the board of the local airline, a press statement from the Office of the President has announced.
This announcement comes a few weeks after Captain’ Jackson’s retirement as a pilot was revealed.
Meanwhile, Egbert Laurence, who was discharging the role of acting chairperson, has been appointed as the new vice-chairperson.
Captain Jackson and Mr Laurence have been appointed for a three-year period, effective from September 1, 2023.
