Africa-Press – Seychelles. Following the 11th Indian Ocean Islands Games held in Madagascar from August 25 to September 3, President Wavel Ramkalawan will this afternoon, at State House, hosts all athletes, coaches, team managers and all those who made up Team Seychelles.
The event which will start at 5pm is also to reward the medallists.
In total, Team Seychelles won 84 medals – 11 gold, 33 silver and 40 bronze – to finish fourth overall.
Gold medal winners will receive R40,000 per medal, while a silver medal carries a prize of R25,000.
As for bronze medal winners, they will receive R12,000.
