Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Seychelles Prison Service has reported that a male inmate at the Montagne Posée prison sustained injuries during an altercation with another inmate yesterday.
In a communique the prison service said the incident occurred at around 4.15pm in the male block.
“He was transported to outside medical for the treatment of injuries and was released back to the prison custody, while the other inmate was placed in the CTU Mike Holding cell,” read the press release.
The matter is being investigated and has been reported to the police.
