Africa-Press – Seychelles. • A win for Seychelles and community spirit
Marie-Nella Azemia, a well-known community figure and long-time leader of the International Friendship League (IFL) Seychelles Chapter, has been elected as the new chairperson of the International Committee of the IFL.
This was during its Annual General Assembly held from June 6 to 14, 2025 in Luton, United Kingdom.
This milestone is not only a personal achievement for Mrs Azemia, but also a proud moment for Seychelles and a reflection of the strong community roots that have sustained the local IFL chapter for over 30 years. Joining her in this achievement was fellow delegate Yvonne Azemia, who was elected secretary of the international committee, further strengthening Seychelles’ presence on the global IFL platform.
