Sadio Mane has been named Africa Cup of Nations 2025 Player of the Tournament after guiding Senegal to their second continental trophy.
Mane was instrumental when then Lions of Teranga defeated Morocco 1-0 in Rabat on Sunday.
The former Liverpool star urged his compatriots to return to the pitch after they went to the dressing room in protest over a controversial penalty decision.
Senegal returned to the pitch and went on to win the match.
Morocco’s attacker Brahmin Diaz despite missing a penalty in the final won the golden boot award with five goals.
