Africa-Press – Seychelles. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment to diligently serve with integrity’

“This week we celebrated ‘Productivity Awareness’ week, with the theme ‘A positive mindset and attitude for a productive Seychelles’. In one of her addresses on the topic, the Minister for Employment and Social Affairs, Patricia Francourt, stated that “our country is once again calling on all of us workers, employers and stakeholders incorporated to rise to the challenge by adopting a more positive attitude to and towards work by taking our responsibility to give the best of ourselves, for the further development of our country.”

“This coincides well with the theme for Labour Day this year – coming up on Sunday May 1, 2022, ‘A transformative world of work for an inclusive economy’.

“Both call for reflection of our values, integrity and work ethos, for the difference we make through our individual and collective efforts is centered from our perceptions of work and is crucial to the sustainable growth of our country as well as being inter-linked with the creation of a transformative world of work for an inclusive economy.

“Yes, a lot is expected of all of us, including the ACCS as a law enforcement agency, and we should all join forces no matter our job titles or responsibilities, as it is only through our united common purpose, hard work, efforts, and resolute courage that our country is transformed and keeps on moving towards achieving a national workforce free from corrupt practices.

“Therefore, on this occasion where we celebrate our efforts and hard work, I avail of this opportunity to thank each of you for your dedication and commitment to diligently serve with integrity. I also encourage each one of us to take the opportunity to reflect on our personal values and critically analyse our mindset to and towards work and how we can transform ourselves for both individual and collective success.

“Have a great Labour Day!”
