Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Seychelles men\u2019s team of Ricky Vel and Gerry Loza\u00efque were to play their first match against Congo last night in year\u2019s Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration Africaine de Volleyball Senior Beach volleyball championship taking place in Agadir, Morocco from July 25 to August 2 by two selections.<\/b><\/p>\n

The other team in the group C is Mozambique.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s competition is being contested by 26 teams divided into eight groups \u2012 six groups of three teams and two of four teams.<\/p>\n

Group A:<\/b><\/p>\n

Morocco, Mali and Nigeria<\/p>\n

Group B:<\/b><\/p>\n

Mozambique, Gambia and Nigeria<\/p>\n

Group C:<\/b><\/p>\n

Mozambique, Congo and Seychelles<\/p>\n

Group D:<\/b><\/p>\n

Botswana, Burundi and Sierra Leone<\/p>\n

Group E:<\/b><\/p>\n

Zambia, Gambia and Togo<\/p>\n

Group F:<\/b><\/p>\n

Morocco, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Sudan and GNB<\/p>\n

Group G:<\/b><\/p>\n

Democratic Republic of Congo, Algeria and Togo<\/p>\n

Group H:<\/b><\/p>\n

Algeria, Burundi, Uganda and Liberia<\/p>\n

A country can register a maximum two teams.<\/p>\n

As for the women\u2019s team of Angelique Adeline and Hillary Nourrice, they were yet to know their opponents by the time of going to press.<\/p>\n

The competition was to start on Monday July 25 and is expected to end on August 2.<\/p>\n

The players are being accompanied by coach Fran\u00e7ois Magloire and chairman of the Seychelles Volleyball Federation (SVF) Ronald Wong.<\/p>\n
