Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan joined other Heads of State for the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit 2022, held on Monday.<\/p>\n

Ramkalawan arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr. Sylvestre Radegonde, according to reports.<\/p>\n

He also paid a visit to the Expo 2020 site, where Seychelles has also set up a stand.<\/p>\n

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week provides a platform for leaders from various fields \u2013 government, business and technology to discuss and support climate action and commitments to net zero.<\/p>\n

The forum is the first major sustainability event after the COP26 climate change conference and acts as a global catalyst for COP27, which will be held in Egypt in 2022, and COP28, which will be hosted by the UAE in 2023.<\/p>\n
