Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Seychelles Breweries has announced that its export and new business manager Nick Ross has been successful in securing a role with the company\u2019s Diageo Global Travel business as Innovation Commercialisation Manager Global Travel, based in 1HQ in London.<\/b><\/p>\n

Mr Ross has been with Seychelles Breweries Ltd (SBL) for just under 3 years and in this time has headed up some of its most successful innovations to date including the launch of SeyBrew and EKU 500ml cans, Smirnoff Ice Guarana, Guinness Smooth and the popular limited edition SeyBrew Island Labels for the 50th Anniversary.<\/p>\n

Managing director of SBL, Conor Neiland, said: \u201cThis move is as a result of a dedicated performance delivery and I\u2019m also particularly pleased that we\u2019re starting to export some of our Seychellois talent to other markets, showcasing the improving depth within our own SBL team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Ross said he was delighted to be given this opportunity to move to the Head Quarters of Diageo and progress in his career. \u201cI would recommend to any Seychellois considering career progression to spend some time in an overseas market. Seychelles Breweries invests heavily in local talent. There are opportunities to join other teams and then return to Seychelles equipped with new skills and experience,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Mr Neiland and Seychelles Breweries team takes the opportunity to wish Nick all the best in his new role and with his relocation to London.<\/p>\n
