Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Anse Etoile High School has opened its learning center to strengthen the educational development of students.<\/b><\/p>\n

The center was opened on Friday afternoon in a small ceremony near the church in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Education and some parents.<\/p>\n

While addressing the guests, the director of the Anse Etoile primary school, Jacqueline Adolphe, said that Louvertir marks a special day in their calendar, the life that has materialized, 3 years after the center was designed by the teacher of Cress, Sheila Jacques.<\/p>\n

Adolphe’s wife explained that the two classrooms that are being used as learning centers were opening a ‘multi-purpose’ court. It has been transformed into two classrooms filled with educational materials that will be used by preschool children up to Primer 2.<\/p>\n

“Children will be able to do a lot of manipulation work, reading, counting, dress-up activities, intellectual and practical work. It is for all subjects such as mathematics, English, French. The most important thing is to help in their development where they will see the importance of living in a family and this will allow them to inculcate in them the good values \u200b\u200band wisdom to do in everyday life,\u00bb Mrs. Adolphe said.<\/p>\n

According to the teacher of religious education, who is also a prose designer, Sheila Jacques, this center was materialized with a lot of help from parents who provided mainly materials for the children to work with.<\/p>\n

“Like we make children see to say that in these things there is nothing at all in the environment, you can bring it back to life, such as cardboard boxes, empty bottles, corks, wood grain, macadamia nut, bernica wood, pieces of wood, incidentally, all we use in our general lessons.<\/p>\n

Miss Jacques explained that her exercises are graded from the youngest to the oldest, meaning children to do based on their level.<\/p>\n

“We make sure we include activities in everyday life so that they can eat, such as learning to stand up, arranging lilies, or washing their hands,” Miss Jacques said.<\/p>\n

He thanked all the parents who said they were dedicated so that this project became a reality, even if twice their arms fell, seeing the amount of time that was taking them.<\/p>\n

It was Marie-Franc\u0327oise Ally who said words of thanks in front of all the other parents in this ceremony, and expressed her satisfaction that they were part of an interesting and important project for the school.<\/p>\n

Friday’s ceremony also included several performances by the students themselves, from chants to poems.<\/p>\n
