Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The newly accredited high commissioner (HC) of India to Seychelles, Kartik Pande, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Roger Mancienne, on the morning of Tuesday November 15, 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Speaker was accompanied by the chairperson of the International Affairs Committee, Hon. Waven William.<\/p>\n

The Speaker congratulated the newly accredited high commissioner and commended the long diplomatic relationship between the two countries, including the need to preserve it.<\/p>\n

Mr Pande expressed his desire to further enhance the cooperation between Seychelles and India, especially in the tourism industry.<\/p>\n

Views were also exchanged on diplomatic values and how both countries continue to manage the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The Speaker wished Mr Pande all the very best in his new role and presented him with a token on behalf of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The high commissioner was accompanied by Vikram Grewal, head of the chancery of the Indian high commission.<\/p>\n
