Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>On the day centenarian Angele Labiche took her last breath on Saturday January 29, 2022, another centenarian, Fulgencia Malcouzane, n\u00e9e Maria, was laid to rest at the Mont Fleuri cemetery.<\/p>\n

Affectionately known as Ita, Mrs Malcouzane of Bel Air passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 103.<\/p>\n

Born on October 6, 1918, Mrs Malcouzanne had seven children \u2012 four sons and three daughters. Unfortunately, all four sons and one daughter passed away before she did.<\/p>\n

She is survived by two daughters \u2012 May and Vania.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mum died peacefully at home,\u201d said May Malcouzane, who is the nurse manager at the English River Health Centre.<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cIta (my mum) lived a happy life and got all the care she needed. But I believe her only regret is not living to celebrate her 104th birthday just like her aunty known as \u2018Tatay\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
