Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The foreign affairs department comprises four main technical divisions \u2012 bilateral affairs, multilateral affairs, regional affairs, and consular and diaspora affairs.<\/p>\n

In a communiqu\u00e9 released this week, the foreign affairs department wrote that the bilateral affairs division is headed by Lindy Ernesta, multilateral affairs by Amanda Padayachy, regional affairs by Steve Lalande and consular and diaspora affairs by Jacques Belle.<\/p>\n

A fifth division of the department also falling under the principal secretary\u2019s secretariat, which provides support to the technical divisions and units of the department is the human resources, administration and budget management division. This division is under the responsibility of Pamela Payet.<\/p>\n

Legal affairs headed by Sandra Michel and development aid headed by Terence Malbrook are the units falling under the principal secretary\u2019s secretariat.<\/p>\n

The chief of protocol who has the overall responsibility for state protocol reports directly to the principal secretary. This position is currently being occupied by Gervais Moumou.<\/p>\n

State House has a protocol unit which reports directly to the President. The unit attends to presidential affairs and provides protocol assistance to the President.<\/p>\n
