Seychellois can now have various aesthetic procedures and treatments done locally, thanks to the newly opened Victoria Aesthetics clinic based in Mont Fleuri.<\/p>\n

Located in the Bel Etang Building facing the Seychelles Hospital, the clinic offers state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures that are minimally invasive and non-invasive; these include skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, body slimming, and body sculpting.<\/p>\n

The aesthetics clinic is currently operational and more services will be offered in a second phase expected to begin in March 2022 \u2013 these include laser hair removal, derma filler, Botox and even surgical treatments like liposuction.<\/p>\n

Dynamic family duo, Laurent Alis and his mother Daniella Payet, launched Victoria Aesthetics after receiving increasing interest from clients from their first venture \u2013 a private medical facility named Victoria Health Clinic, which they opened at the height of the global pandemic and became the first and only private facility to perform surgeries.<\/p>\n

Mr Alis notes that despite cosmetic procedures\u2019 reputation for being an easy fix, the clinic\u2019s main goal is to encourage people to look after themselves long-term and keep long lasting results.<\/p>\n

\u201cTechnologies are able to reduce body fat, which we consider a priority given the obesity levels in our country, but consultations with our in-house therapists and nutritionists have been incorporated to ensure that patients can change their lifestyles and eat well and exercise to keep their body healthy,\u201d Mr Alis added.<\/p>\n

The cost of the clinic\u2019s treatments depend on the procedures required and follow-up necessary, according to Mr Alis. However the non-invasive procedures will cost less than the more invasive ones.<\/p>\n

He also notes that being able to offer Seychellois and residents the opportunity to have state-of-the-art technologies for body treatments in the country is vital, not only for reducing costs by eliminating the need to travel overseas but also by allowing in-depth and more frequent follow-ups.<\/p>\n

Mr Alis and Ms Payet have strong tourism and business backgrounds spanning over two decades, and saw the opportunity to apply their knowledge to grow the private medical field when the pandemic brought new constraints to access treatments and supplies.<\/p>\n
