Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The Seychelles Pension Fund has activated its Business Continuation Plan as part of its strategies in place to mitigate unforeseen situations.<\/b><\/p>\n

This follows a situation whereby its ground floor offices at the Caravelle House stopped operations as a result of a burst air-condition pipe which caused the offices to be flooded.<\/p>\n

The cashiering services and the enforcement section were directly affected, whilst services for benefits and customer services were discontinued for security concerns due to electricity connections.<\/p>\n

In line with the business continuity plan, the Seychelles Pension Fund (SPF) has put in place a contingency programme to ensure that employers, members and other clients continue with their intended businesses with the organisation.<\/p>\n

This includes the following, namely cashiering services where a temporary cashiering service has been set up in the lobby area at the Maison Collet for employers and members to settle payments.<\/p>\n

For contributions, clients are being requested to proceed to the SPF Providence Branch at Jupiter House for settling of payments. Jupiter House is being beefed up with more staff to attend to the increase inflow of clients.<\/p>\n

Collection boxes have been installed outside the SPF office at Caravelle House and in the lobby of Maison Collet building. Members can use those to drop off cheques and payroll details.<\/p>\n

Employers and members are being encouraged to use the e-contribution online platform facility for contribution purposes, available on the SPF website at www.pensionfund.sc<\/p>\n

The benefit and customer services will resume normal duties as of today, August 24, 2023. Other SPF services remain operational.<\/p>\n

SPF reassures its members that all security protocols have been taken to ensure a smooth transition of its operation as well as the security of information.<\/p>\n
