Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>A South African delegation led by special envoys Alvin Botes, deputy Minister for International Relations and Cooperation and Ambassador Welile Nhlapo called on the Minister for Foreign Affairs & Tourism, Sylvestre Radegonde, yesterday at Maison Qu\u00e9au de Quinssy.<\/p>\n

The special envoys\u2019 mission is to personally convey a message to President Wavel Ramkalawan on behalf of his South African counterpart President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the delegates spoke of the excellent relations and cooperation that Seychelles and South Africa have shared throughout the years, notably in the educational and cultural sectors.<\/p>\n

Both parties pledged to continue forging these relations to greater heights.<\/p>\n

They also expressed their conviction that the presence of the Seychelles high commission in South Africa is critical to this relationship.<\/p>\n

Minister Radegonde reassured the envoys that Seychelles recognises the steering role that President Ramaphosa has played as Champion for the Covid-AU vaccination programme.<\/p>\n

The South African delegation also comprise the chief of director East Africa, Tselane Mokuena and the head of office of the deputy Minister, Justin De Allende.<\/p>\n
