Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Team Seychelles\u2019 badminton players yesterday booked their place in five quarterfinals of the ongoing Indian Ocean Islands Games taking place at the Zone Expo Forello, Tanjombato, in Madagascar. Alisen Camille will be involved in three quarterfinal matches.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s singles, Alisen Camille booked her ticket for the quarterfinal with a 2-0 win over Marguerite de Becdelievre from Mayotte.<\/p>\n

Partnering with Juliette Waye-Hive in the women\u2019s doubles, the duo won their match 2-0 over Fenitra Arjesa and Asminah Razafiaimalala of Madagascar to reach the quarterfinal. Another Seychelles women\u2019s doubles team made up of Jessy Mancienne and Sejal Shah had the better of Indjila Abanour and Audrey Boihus from Mayotte to book their place in the quarterfinal.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s doubles, Steve Malcouzane and Aaron Malcouzane won their match 2-0 against Matthieu Gouzou and Emmanuel Rozand for a place in the quarterfinal. Camille was also in action in the mixed doubles with partner Jie Luo and they beat Loi\u0308c Bertil and Virginie Testan from Reunion 2-0.<\/p>\n

Aurelie Jean-Louis competing in the women\u2019s singles lost 0-2 to Aishath Rasheed from Maldives, while Jakim Renuad, who won his men\u2019s single match on Tuesday against Guillaume Bourel from Mayotte, was beaten 2-0 by Lucas Douce from Mauritius yesterday.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s doubles, Renaud and Luo lost 0-2 to Thibaud Couguoille and Loi\u0308c Nanicaodin from Mauritius.<\/p>\n
