Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The Ministry of Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment has confirmed that it has received complaints with regards to excessive clearing of coastal vegetations at the Anse a\u0300 La Mouche beach front (opposite the Anse a\u0300 La Mouche hotel development site).<\/b><\/p>\n

Following these concerns, the ministry wishes to inform the public that instructions have been given to stop all works along this beach front until further notice.<\/p>\n

As part of the Anse a\u0300 La Mouche development, in the south-west of Mahe\u0301, the previous main road has been re-designed to become a boulevard with rehabilitation works to be undertaken along the section of the beach in front of the development site.<\/p>\n

However, the ministry stressed, this is to be done \u201cunder strict guidance and approval from the authority\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn view of this situation, the ministry would also like to inform the public that the necessary is being done that those responsible take appropriate actions to restore the area,\u201d the Ministry of Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment added.<\/p>\n
