Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The Seychellois Association of French Teachers (ASEF) elected its executive committee during a general assembly held yesterday in one of the premises of the Ministry of Education. at Mont Fleuri.<\/b><\/p>\n

The new executive office is composed as follows: President \u2013 \u200b\u200bWilliana Cassime, vice-president (Mahe\u0301 region) \u2013 Mohamed Lamine Kante\u0301, vice-president (Praslin-La Digue region) \u2013 Mosianne Dugasse, secretary \u2013 Sangare\u0301 Moustapha Kemoko, assistant secretary \u2013 Marie Reine Hoareau, treasurer \u2013 Margaret Autre and auditor \u2013 Haidee Jenny.<\/p>\n

The other members of the office are Joycy Arnephy, Claude Collin, Fabien Michelle and Annie Laurette.<\/p>\n

After a brief historical presentation of the association by Mr. Kante\u0301, the revised statutes were read by Mrs. Cassime with comments in support of certain passages.<\/p>\n

Under the supervision of Mr. Keiran Madeleine, main manager of the study programs and support services section (representative of the Ministry of Education) and Ms. Miera Savy, secretary of the Commission Nationale de la Francophonie, the statutes were were adopted unanimously by the audience.<\/p>\n

As recognition of the effort and work done by the transitional executive committee, the members of the provisional office were elected almost by all the votes cast.<\/p>\n

After the election of members, Ms. Annie Laurette, in a detailed intervention, asked teachers to make proposals for activities for the next international day of French teachers.<\/p>\n

As part of the mobility of French teachers, Dr. Marie-Reine Hoareau identified the issues of this project before a personal information sheet was given to the teachers to fill out.<\/p>\n

In a summary speech, the new president measured and recognized the challenges of the new committee during the next two years of its mandate before thanking the teachers for the mobilization they showed.<\/p>\n

The event generally took place in a friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n
