Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>n a heartwarming event on Sunday, October 8, Club Med Seychelles opened its doors to 50 less fortunate children, aged 4 to 15, in a bid to spread joy and happiness.<\/p>\n

The special guests came from the President\u2019s Village and Survival Ark Foundation, two NGOs which work for the welfare of children.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by 10 adults, the children were welcomed with open arms by the Chef de Village Houcem Mannai and his team, embodying the spirit of community and compassion.<\/p>\n

The day was filled with an array of activities, leaving smiles on the faces of both the children and the Club Med employees.<\/p>\n

The day commenced with a warm welcome and refreshing drinks for all, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead.<\/p>\n

The Chef de Village extended a heartwarming welcome speech, encapsulating the essence of unity and togetherness.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are always so happy to welcome our little dear friends at the resort and it is very fulfilling for me and my colleagues to give them a treat that they deserve,\u201d Houcem Mannai told Seychelles NATION.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the day was the captivating theater show, ‘The Rift Show,’ which dazzled the children with an array of lights and magic.<\/p>\n

Their joy and enthusiasm were palpable as they were engrossed in the performance, creating a magical atmosphere.<\/p>\n

As weather conditions changed, the event was smoothly transitioned to the main bar area for a grand gouter, ensuring the safety and comfort of the young participants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis did not dampen their spirits, as they engaged in a lively dance competition and fun games, showcasing their talent and exuberance,\u201d Houcem Manai said.<\/p>\n

As the day drew to a close at 1645hrs, the children bid their farewells, eagerly expressing their desire to return. The boat left at 1700hrs, marking the end of a truly memorable day filled with laughter, happiness, and cherished memories.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the event, the adults from the NGOs who accompanied the children shared their sentiments of gratitude and satisfaction, expressing their commitment to supporting and uplifting vulnerable children in the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to create a day of joy for these wonderful children,\u201d Yasmin Umarji, CEO of the National Council for Children (NCC) commented after this day trip.\u201dTheir happiness is our greatest reward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carol Gabriel, Safe Together Manager at Club Med Seychelles, explained that these social events are part of the Club Med Foundation actions worldwide. \u201cThis event stands as a testament to the Club Med Foundation\u2019s commitment to social responsibility, leaving a lasting impact on the community and reinforcing the importance of unity and compassion. Since 1978, the Club Med Foundation mobilises Club Med\u2019s teams and resources for the benefit of solidarity projects near its resorts and offices around the world. Club Med employees are committed to contributing to the Foundation\u2019s programmes in 25 countries through 260 inspiring initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n
