Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>The Creole Festival is the time where we celebrate everything that makes us a Creole people. It’s not just a time where we revive our traditions, but it’s also a time where we celebrate our Creoleness in all aspects, and this includes our creativity.<\/p>\n

Stylists come to their senses during the Kreol Festival to demonstrate their creativity, innovation and also their talent in fashion through a number of popular activities on the festival calendar. This is the Evil Fund which this year has been called the Madness of Fashion.<\/p>\n

This event was held at Domaine de Val des Pr\u00e8s, Au Cap recently.<\/p>\n

The models paraded in different clothes and accessories made by local stylists.<\/p>\n

During this evening, three stylists won prizes for best young stylist, best professional stylist and best concept.<\/p>\n

Isis Loze, a young stylist who is still studying at the Institute for Art and Design, won the prize for the best young stylist.<\/p>\n

Ms. Loze tells us that it is the first time she participates in such an event and that the prize she won gives her encouragement to persevere in her studies.<\/p>\n

His collection is Losean and his collection is called ‘A reflection of a star’.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that this was the result of a lesson and it was there that he was inspired to take up this topic.<\/p>\n

His collection, which was based more on salt water stars, included five songs for the evening.<\/p>\n

The young stylist said that he was shocked when he won the prize but that he is really happy.<\/p>\n

He added that he felt excited to take part in this activity and show his collection in front of such an audience for the first time.<\/p>\n

Another young girl who showed her fashion and textile talent that day and night was Emma Larue, who is also a student of the institute.<\/p>\n

Her sister Larue won the prize for the best concept with a collection under the label ‘Ocean tentacles’.<\/p>\n

His collection consisted of five collections and a lot of emphasis was placed on the line, shape and color of this saltwater creature called mouse.<\/p>\n

The colors in his collection, which were more ‘casual’ jeans, were blue, green and a little white.<\/p>\n

The prize for the best professional stylist went to Athalia Barb\u00e9 who came up with a collection called “Colors of wealth”. This recent collection celebrates our African heritage in fashion and textiles and explores the power of colors \u2013 gold, pink, blue, green and white.<\/p>\n
