Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Air Seychelles has been bestowed with its first ever award in the world category of the World Travel Awards programme for the year 2023.<\/p>\n

Announced during the Grand Final Gala ceremony which was held at the Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah, Dubai early this December, Air Seychelles was voted the World\u2019s Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean 2023.<\/p>\n

Every year, the World Travel Awards\u2019 Grand Tour scours the globe for excellence, awarding regional tourism and travel organisations, with a culmination in the Grand Final where winners go head-to-head for top honours.<\/p>\n

Marking its 30th anniversary, the World Travel Award is globally recognised as one of the industry\u2019s most prestigious honours programmes.<\/p>\n

Sandy Benoiton, chief executive of Air Seychelles, said \u201cIt is an honour to be recognised as the World\u2019s Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean! This award is a huge endorsement and we are indeed very proud that our guests and partners hold us in such high esteem. I am very humbled to lead such a dynamic group of people who undoubtedly made this happen. Thank you again to everyone who voted for Air Seychelles.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition, earlier this year in October, Air Seychelles won two awards in the regional category, namely; \u2018Indian Ocean\u2019s Leading Airline Brand\u2019 and \u2018Indian Ocean\u2019s Leading Airline Economy Class\u2019.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, acknowledged at the same ceremony, the Seychelles retains its title as the World\u2019s Most Romantic Destination in 2023.<\/p>\n
