Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Netflix audiences will get to watch Trevor Noah’s Golden Globe-nominated special Where Was I on 19 December.<\/p>\n

The comedian has been nominated in the newly added category for Best Performance in Stand-up Comedy on Television.<\/p>\n

His latest project is just another highlight of the South African comedian’s fruitful 2023.<\/p>\n

He has been nominated for a Grammy and was awarded the Erasmus prize<\/b> in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

He’s also had sold-out shows across the world as part of his Off The Record<\/b> tour and launched his Spotify<\/b> podcast.<\/p>\n

His latest special is directed by David Paul Meyer and is filmed at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, in the US.<\/p>\n

The Netflix description for the show reads:<\/p>\n

Noah wrote on Instagram<\/b>, posting the teaser trailer of the special: “I’m excited to announce that my new comedy special premieres in 8 days! Where Was I will be available worldwide, December 19th on Netflix.”<\/p>\n

The trailer contains one of the jokes from his special, where he tells a story about losing his luggage in Paris, France, and asking a French airline worker for assistance.<\/p>\n

This is Noah’s fourth special with the streaming service, having previously done I Wish You Would<\/b>, Son of Patricia and Afraid of the Dark.<\/p>\n

His latest special seems to follow in a similar vein as I Wish You Would, where he bases his material on experiences from his world travels.<\/p>\n
