Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Some 100 children of the western region of Mahe\u0301 and Praslin have been able to make different level of progress in swimming after following a training session.<\/p>\n

Run from December 11 to 21, the 10-day training was organised by the National Sports Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n

Children from schools in west Mahe\u0301 \u2013 Port Glaud, La Mise\u0300re, Anse Boileau \u2013 took part in the training held at the Port Launay beach. On Praslin, training took place at the Eve swimming pool.<\/p>\n

At the end of the training, the children received certificates according to their level \u2013 crab (beginners), tortoise ( understanding and know the basics) and fish (those who are able to perform the different strokes).<\/p>\n

The accompanying photos show the children during one of the training sessions.<\/p>\n
