Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Morocco on Saturday defeated Madagascar to win the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, title.<\/p>\n

The CHAN final ended 3-2 in favour of Morocco against Madagascar at the Moi International Sports Centre.<\/p>\n

C. F. Manohantsoa had given Madagascar the lead in the 9th minute of the encounter.<\/p>\n

But Youssef Mehri restored parity for the North Africans before Oussama Lamlaoui put Morocco in front before half-time.<\/p>\n

In the second half, T. N. Rakotondraibe equalized for Madagascar, but a late goal from Lamlaoui ensured Morocco lifted the trophy.<\/p>\n

The latest title was Morocco\u2019s third CHAN in the last eight years.<\/p>\n

The Atlas Lions won the tournament in 2018 and 2020, respectively, in the past.<\/p>\n
