It is a great opportunity, and Cape Verde will naturally take advantage of this synergy,\u201d the official asserted.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the beneficiaries are expected to be small and medium-sized enterprises, prioritizing gender equality, that is, women leading activities in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding over the event, the Minister of the Sea, Jorge Santos, told the press that the validation of this report represents \u201can important moment\u201d because it will allow for reflection on cross-border fish trade and also the enhancement of the entire value chain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCape Verde made a very wise choice in terms of economic development, prioritizing and giving centrality to the blue economy,\u201d the official considered.<\/p>\n<p>He believes that in the blue economy, the marketing of fish plays a central role, not only because it is a primary activity, but also because it adds value to the entire sector chain.
