\nOn Sunday April 24, matches number 12 of divisions 1 and 2 of the T20 MSC \/ Enjoy Super League were played at the Pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance cricket ground and it was a successful day for GSP teams who won.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the morning, GSP 7-A played the Bangladesh (BD) Tigers. Winning the toss, GSP 7 – A elected to bat first. Captain Appu of BD Tigers bowled well and grabbed 4 wickets, Rahul and Narendra removed 2 wickets and managed to restrict GSP 7 – A to a total of 125.<\/p>\n

For GSP 7 – A, Karthik 29(33), Vivek 25(32), Surender 15(27) and Vijayan 13(14) were the best performers.<\/p>\n

Upon chasing, Ashik 27(34) and Appu 15(6) of BD Tigers tried to stabilise the innings but GSP 7 – A bowlers stroke the ball well at regular intervals and bowled them all out in the 19th over with bowlers Karthik bagging 4 wickets, Mugilan and Lijo 2 wickets each.<\/p>\n

GSP 7 – A thus beat BD Tigers by 13 runs.<\/p>\n

Karthik was selected player-of-the-match for his all-round performance<\/p>\n

In the afternoon session, division 1 teams GSP 7 and Narayan XI clashed.<\/p>\n

Winning the toss, captain Santosh Pillay of GSP 7 opted to bat first. The GSP skipper started firmly and scored 23(30) despite losing an early wicket. Batsmen Rajiv 24(26), Kalvin Deso 20(21), Sachin Kunder 37(21) and Babu 13(11) managed to set up a target of 131.<\/p>\n

Upon batting, Narayan XI’s top order was destructed by the pace attack of GSP 7. Batsmen Bhupesh 12(12), Abhijith 22(18), Nitin 22(23) tried to stabilise the match but it was not enough to stop GSP 7 from winning by 55 runs.<\/p>\n

GSP 7 bowler Nagarajan, who grabbed 3 wickets conceding only 13 runs, was selected as player-of-the-match.<\/p>\n
