{"id":7335,"date":"2022-05-23T18:02:47","date_gmt":"2022-05-23T18:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/seychelles\/?p=7335"},"modified":"2022-05-23T14:28:02","modified_gmt":"2022-05-23T14:28:02","slug":"12th-african-business-leadership-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/seychelles\/all-news\/12th-african-business-leadership-awards","title":{"rendered":"12th African Business Leadership Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span><b>Naadir Hassan nominated for African Finance Minister of the year award<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Finance, National Planning and Trade Minister Naadir Hassan is one of the five candidates nominated for the African Finance Minister of the year award.<\/p>\n<p>This award recognises an outstanding finance minister who through strong fiscal policies, has enhanced the national economic outlook and supported the growth of businesses despite looming challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Ipumbu Shiimi, Minister for Finance, Botswana; Nadia Fettah Alaoui, Minister for Finance, Morocco; and Renganaden Padayachy, Minister for Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Mauritius are the other nominees.<\/p>\n<p>The African Finance Minister of the year award forms part of the 12th African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA) \u2012 a flagship programme which rewards exceptional corporate practices and outstanding achievements in the African business landscape, as well as contributions to the continent\u2019s inclusive socio-economic growth and development. It is organised by the African Leadership Magazine based in Portsmouth, United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>The first stage of the process was the call for nomination which closed on May 13. The other two steps include call for voting for shortlisted nominees; and thirdly, the editorial board\u2019s final review of the nominations and vote entries \u2013 using supporting evidence and voting considerations in their final decisions for African Business Leadership Awards winners.<\/p>\n<p>The African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA) is in keeping with the African Leadership Magazine\u2019s tradition of presenting the sides of the continent\u2019s leaders and businesses, which hardly find placement on global media platforms \u2013 celebrating exemplary business leadership on the continent.
