Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>On behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, President Wavel Ramkalawan has sent a message of congratulations on the celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s Platinum Jubilee.<\/b><\/p>\n

In his message, the President said, \u201cYour remarkable seventy years of service is an unprecedented and extraordinary milestone in the history of the British monarchy. Throughout your reign, you have been a remarkable global personality whose legacy transcends national borders.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further added \u201cYou have been and continue to be a symbol of stability, grace and hope for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. I wish to celebrate Your Majesty\u2019s continuing reign, in being loved and respected by the people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and the entire world.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Queen’s coronation took place on June 2, 1953, at Westminster Abbey in London. The major Platinum Jubilee celebrations therefore began yesterday, Thursday June 2, 2022.<\/p>\n
