Africa-Press – Seychelles. <\/strong><\/span>Guests and employees at Club Med Seychelles pooled in to give a glamorous touch to the National Day and Independence Day. A joyous celebration of tradition mixed with a degree of international sharing with everyone wishing prosperity to Seychelles.<\/b>
\nThe day sparkled with various activities which started at breakfast and went on very late in the night. The special day was marked by sumptuous local culinary offerings, traditional dance shows and experiences perfect for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis annual celebration is one of the most anticipated highlights of the resort\u2019s social calendar,\u201d said Youssef Tobrouki, chef de village at Club Med Sainte Anne.\u201cWe will be offering a variety of National Day-inspired experiences for our guests designed to celebrate this special occasion with our community, as well as introducing our international guests to the traditions of the country in which our hotel proudly resides.\u201d<\/p>\n

The decoration works started on the eve with employees from all parts of the world joining in to give a touch of national colours to every prominent site of the resort.<\/p>\n

On the day itself, the thrill was at its best making the Seychellois employees emotional.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt so moved to see all my local colleagues and those from so many different countries joining in to make it such a special occasion,\u201d Wilna Tirant, the resort human resources (HR) manager said. \u201cWe were inspired by this solidarity, and this brings us even closer in our work and social life. This is what Club Med is all about: a blending of international values. What a day!\u201d<\/p>\n

The day ended with a flag raising ceremony near the pool and a lavish Creole buffet where all guests and employees savoured the local flavours.
