Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The former APC Vice President, Samuel SamSumana on his verified twitter account sends strong messages of unity, peace and transparency to the people of Sierra Leone. In his message he said, “Sierra Leoneans will decide on June 24th,2023 who will govern the affairs of our nation in the next five years. This is another opportunity for us to maintain our hard-earned peace that will once more demonstrate our ability to defeat our challenging pasts”. A message of encouraging voters to be patient and stay away from violent activities and chose the ballot box to make a decision.
Going on, Sam-Sumana called on fellow Sierra Leoneans to be civil saying, “I call on all fellow Sierra Leoneans to be part of this civil process devoid of any form of violence among all contesting political parties putting our nation above self to grant peace, transparency and fairness with equal opportunities for credible outcomes”.
He pleaded to all relevant local, national, international and NGOs to do their best on June 24th to show the world that Sierra Leone has grown beyond what it was known for.
