Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone’s main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Party has condemned the burning of Diana Konomanyi’s home in Kono District, Eastern Sierra Leone.
Konomanyi, who served as government minister under erstwhile President Koroma, saw her home torched down by unknown arsonists on Tuesday.
“The APC commiserates with its comrade; Madam Konomanyi, and unequivocally condemns this savage and criminal act and calls on the Sierra Leone Police to speedily investigate and bring perpetrators to book,” the Party said.
