Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Bo Rangers CAF Champions League opponent, LISCR Football Club, has withdrawn from the 2023 West Africa Championship Cup citing administrative reasons.

The Liberian club made an official announcement on its Facebook page regarding the decision and has communicated with the organizers.

Despite this withdrawal, LISCR FC continues to prepare for the upcoming CAF Champions League games and the new season. The participating teams in this year’s edition of the West Africa Champions Cup include Horoya AC, Soar AC, Milo FC, and Hafia Football Club from Guinea, AS Real from Mali, and Coton FC from Benin.The West Africa Champions Cup is a prestigious tournament providing a platform for West African clubs to improve their skills and preparation for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from the 7th to the 13th of August 2023 in the vibrant city of Dubréka, Guinea, promising thrilling encounters as teams compete for the championship title.
