Sierra Leone’s Inspector General of Police, William Fayia Sellu, together with other security apparatus has embarked on a monitoring tour at the Sierra Leone-Liberia border. The visit was geared at monitoring the security of Sierra Leoneans based in Liberia, as the country is preparing for its general elections.
Liberia is set for its general elections on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.The presidential election on Tuesday sees 19 candidates vying to replace the incumbent George Weah who is also seeking a second term in office.
