He Leaves State House to Deepen in His Private Legal Practice – Chief Minister Confirms Solomon Jamiru’s Resignation

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has officially disclosed the resignation of Solomon Jamiru, the State House Press Secretary, from his governmental post.

Dr. Sengeh revealed that Jamiru has decided to step down in order to dedicate more time to his private legal practice.

Solomon Jamiru who was a legal practitioner before joining the government in 2018, served twice as Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, and as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

He was appointed by President Bio as his Press Secretary at State House after the June 2023 elections.

Jamiru has so far not made any public statement about his resignation.
