Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. His Excellency Retired Brigadier MAADA BIO
President of the Republic of Sierra Leone
Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Dear Mr. President,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as a concerned citizen of Sierra Leone, deeply affected by the current challenges facing our nation.
Many of us are suffering due to the lack of price control on essential goods, leading to increased hardship. Fuel prices remain high, and the electricity supply, which once brought us comfort, is now unreliable, causing damage to homes and properties. Additionally, access to clean water is becoming increasingly scarce, impacting our health and well-being.
Mr. President, you are not only my leader but also a father figure to many of us. I believe you care for the people of Sierra Leone, and it is with this faith that I reach out to you. My intention is not to undermine your government but to shed light on the struggles we face daily. We desperately need your assistance to address these pressing issues.
My people are suffering, Mr. President, and many of us are scared to speak out, fearing repercussions for expressing our concerns. Yet here I am, as a son reaching out to you, not to insult you but to appeal for your help. Your people are not happy, Sir.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. I trust in your leadership and hope for positive changes that will improve the lives of all Sierra Leoneans. We love you. Long live President Maada Bio, long live Sierra Leone.
Sincerely,
Sulaiman Abdul Razak Newton
