Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Shooting Stars, Sierra Leone’s U-20 national football team, officially departed from Freetown this morning en route to Egypt for the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Led by Administrative Head Benjamin Gordon and NSA’s Director of Operations Alie Sesay, the delegation is scheduled to arrive in Cairo early Friday.

The team is set to begin their tournament journey on April 27, coinciding with Sierra Leone’s Independence Day, in a match against Zambia. With high hopes and support from a nation, the young players aim to represent Sierra Leone with pride at the continental championship.

Led by the Administrative head Benjamin Gordon and NSA’s Director of Operations Alie Sesay, the delegation is expected to land in Cairo in the early hours of Friday, ready to light up the continental stage.

Our young lions will kick off their AFCON journey on April 27 — Sierra Leone’s Independence Day against Zambia in a clash that promises fire, flair, and full national spirit.
