Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. APC National Publicity Secretary, Sidi Yayah Tunis, has given strict warning to all aspirants vying for the All People’s Congress (APC) party’s flag bearer position, not to engage in violence or anything that goes against the party’s principles during campaigns.
Alhaji Sidi Yayah Tunis, said that the party should maintain peaceful and democratic processes to flow, and that it will not encourage any misconduct that threatens the integrity and unity of the APC.
According to him, the APC is focused on building a credible and responsible leadership structure, adding that internal democracy and mutual respect must guide all campaign activities.
The party is said to be in preparation for its next election with several prominent figures expected to declare their interest in leading the APC into the next general elections.
Tunis advised everyone to remain calm, law-abiding, and respectful of different opinions, saying that the strength of the party lies in its unity and shared vision for national development.
