Commissioner Ernest Baimba Ndomahina, newly appointed chairman of the Development Committee for Kori Chiefdom, led an important event on Saturday morning in a bid to unite youth of the chiefdom in Moyamba District. Joined by hundreds of youth, local stakeholders, and community members, the commissioner organised a judging event through the principal streets of Taiama.
Commissioner Ndomahina stressed on the main purpose of the gathering was to foster unity among the diverse groups within Kori Chiefdom, highlighting the importance of collaboration among young people, women, and stakeholders for sustainable development.
“As the chairman of development in Kori, my committee cannot succeed without peace and unity,” he stated.
The event aimed not only to celebrate local talent but also to promote healthy lifestyles and environmental consciousness, essential for the chiefdom’s progress. Ndomahina called on all residents, both at home and abroad, to prioritise the interests of Kori Chiefdom and work collaboratively for the betterment of the district.
This initiative reflects a growing commitment to community development in Kori Chiefdom, with hopes of inspiring further engagement and cooperation among its people.
