Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The University of Sierra Leone (USL) has announced that the online application portal for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will open on Wednesday, 20 August 2025.
The initiative forms part of the institution’s annual admissions process for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to USL, prospective applicants are required to pay application fees through Union Trust Bank, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Commerce and Mortgage Bank, or Rokel Commercial Bank, either in Freetown or at their regional branches. The application fee is set at NLe500.00 for undergraduate programmes and NLe600.00 for postgraduate courses.
The university further stated that the deadline for purchasing and submitting applications for undergraduate programmes is Saturday, 20 September 2024. Details regarding deadlines for postgraduate programmes have not yet been specified.
The application process will be conducted entirely online, covering all faculties under USL, including Fourah Bay College (FBC), the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMHAS), and the School of Postgraduate Studies.
University officials encouraged prospective students to complete payments and submit their applications well ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute delays.
