Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The National Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Moses Mambu, has reassured party members and the general public that the new executive committee is fully committed to restoring internal cohesion within the party.
He made the remarks during an appearance on Liberty TV Online.
“The SLPP is concerned and working across all structures to address every problem within the party and prepare the SLPP to win the 2028 elections,” Mambu said.
He further emphasized that all issues will be addressed at every level from zonal branches to the top executive committee, and across national and international structures. “We also address concerns on the international level,” he added.
Mambu explained that the committee’s mandate is being implemented in two phases. The first phase focuses on uniting all party members, even those with differing positions, to ensure cohesion. The second phase aims to maintain the party’s political power in the 2028 elections.
“The new executive committee will ensure that every member is brought together, and that the SLPP remains strong and ready for future challenges,” Mambu concluded.
