Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Ministry of Agriculture in Moyamba District, together with farmers and farmer-based organizations (FBOs), convened at the MAFS Conference Hall for a key planning meeting ahead of this year’s World Food Day.
The meeting, chaired by Tamba G. Gbetuwa, NAFFS District Chairman, and co-chaired by Brima S. Bangura, District Extension Officer (DEO), focused on critical preparations for the upcoming event. Discussions centered on fundraising strategies to ensure adequate financing, the selection of quality agricultural exhibits, and transportation logistics for both farmers and their displays.
Stakeholders emphasized the importance of showcasing excellence in agricultural production and ensuring smooth logistics to make the event a success.
